Credenhill Park Wood: Restoration of Archaeological Feature within Ancient Woodland
Credenhill Park Wood is a 91 hectare ancient woodland site, where positive woodland management has successfully combined biodiversity restoration with protection of an important Scheduled Ancient Monument, whilst also furthering local community engagement in the wood.

Bring Learning to Life - Diploma in Environmental and Land-based Studies - Engaging Employers
The Forestry Commission is a National organisation, with regional offices across England. At its West Midlands office it employs 85 staff and up to 200 volunteers. As one of the lead organisations tasked with implementing the Government's England Trees Woods and Forest Strategy and the West Midlands Regional Forestry Framework, the Forestry Commission is committed to supporting the delivery of the Diploma in Environmental and Land-based Studies.

The National Forest Tender Scheme
The National Forest Tender Scheme has created 484 ha of new accessible woodland. The Tender Scheme is a unique woodland incentive that enables landowners to diversify their business interests and create commercial and/or amenity woodland. It can be linked with opportunities for recreation, access and tourism.

The Green Wood Centre
The Green Wood Centre (GWC) has invested over £250 000 during 2006 on the development of their site in Coalbrookdale, part of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. The site, the National Office of the Small Woods Association, will become an interpretation centre for traditional woodland skills, coppicing, sustainable building and other sustainable technologies. Funding has been sourced from the following; Defra RES; £156,510, Sita Environmental Trust, £25,000 and Onyx Environmental Trust, £83,600.
